Not a big story in a game when bottom-rankedVardar (0-7) was rolled over at home by fourth ranked MZT Skopje (5-2) 110-79 on Thursday. MZT Skopje dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Vardar 's 40. They outrebounded Vardar 46-17 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. MZT Skopje looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Vardar 's players. The former international Andrej Andonoski (201-2002) fired 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Croatian-Bosnian power forward Marko Bakovic (205-1993) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. Guard Luka Marjanovikj (191-2007, agency: BIG) produced 18 points and guard Husein Bajram (180-2002) added 20 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Rabotnicki and Pelister. Loser Vardar still closes the standings with seven games lost.
